Becoming a Member of CPCSM

Please join us in helping the Church and society to become more just and hospitable. Some of the benefits of membership include: receiving the Rainbow Spirit, voting at our annual meetings, receiving media alerts, having access to our prayer line, and knowing that you are contributing to the invaluable and often ground-breaking ministry of CPCSM.

Although membership in CPCSM is never a prerequisite for participation in our programs, we invite you to join and help support our work. To become a member, please print the following form, fill it out, and mail it to our office address along with your check made payable to "CPCSM." A staff member will then contact you and welcome you and answer any questions that you may have.

If, in addition to becoming a member, you would like to volunteer your time and talents to CPCSM, please also complete the Volunteer Interest Form and email it to our email address.

Making Other Donations to CPCSM

Having no official ties to the Catholic Church, CPCSM receives no formal financial support from the Archdiocese. (Even if the official Church were to make such support possible, CPCSM would be unable to accept it since it would seriously compromise the integrity of our ministry.) Therefore, our ability to carry out our programs relies exclusively on the generous contributions we receive from individual and group benefactors, including small grants and gifts from a few local parishes that earmark funds for social justice causes.

Our records for the past fiscal year show that our overhead and administrative expenses constitute only about 8 % of our total income. In other words, for every dollar that we receive, 92 cents goes directly to providing services to our client community. Accordingly, be assured that we will be most grateful for every donation we receive - whether as small as $10 or as large as $5000 - and will efficiently use it to help carry out the work of our ministry.

Since CPCSM is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, duly registered with the State of Minnesota, all donations are tax deductible. Please make your check payable to "CPCSM" and mail it to: CPCSM, 2930 13th Ave. So., Minneapolis, MN 55407-1420.
