GLBT/GLBT-Friendly Religious and Spiritual Links

The web site of christianlesbians.com lists the group's purpose as three-fold:

  • To proclaim the Good News of Jesus and God's unconditional and abiding love for all people.
  • To offer information and resources for those women who are presently struggling to reconcile their faith and sexuality and to let them know that God need not be forsaken simply because of their sexual orientation. God has definitely not forsaken you!
  • To create a circle of fellowship and support for Christian Lesbians, many of whom feel isolated by living in "the closet" or from having experienced rejection from family, friends and their own church community.

Nationwide Index of Welcoming Congregations

An excellent feature of this web site, also of interest to gay, bisexual, and transgender persons is its index of welcoming congregations, which is grouped by state.

People of Faith Allies is a Minnesota-based interfaith network whose mission is to give voice and action to our conviction that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people have the same worth and wholeness as all people, and the right to just and equitable treatment.
